Syring was born August 18, 1888 in Belle Prairie township, Beadle County, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louise Syring. She married Fred Williams February 26, 19?9, and they lived in the Wessington area til 1958 when they moved to Wessington. She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church. Survivors are two sons, Arnold, Wessington, and Edward, Wolsey; one daughter, Mrs. Vernon (Marian) Pierce, Oakdale, Calif., six grandchidlren and 12 great grandchildren, five sisters, Edna Harden, Reseda, Calif., Ruth Stauber, Van Nuys, Cath Ella Yuker, Aberdeen, Lillian Langbehn, Wolsey, and Clara Prentice, Wessington, and two brothers, Oscar and Donald Syring both of Reseda, Calif.
