Her parents Anders and Ingrid also had a son Marcus born out of wedlock in 1807. Anikka's birth record also states that she is the second illegitimate birth of two people. Anikka had a child Gjertrud born July 11, 1834 out of wedlock with Lasse Eirikson Ytre Nesse. He was a bachelor from Nøstevigen (unknown? location). Gjertrud was baptised Sept. 7, 1834 Kvamsøu sok. Anikka married Ola Hansson Nese..see rest of their story in Ole's notes. Anikka lived 18 years after Ole's death and spent most of her widowed life with Julia and son-in-law Hans. A granddaughter said that she loved to smoke a pipe and slept at the foot of the bed of Julia and Hans. From the local history book of farms in Vik: "A county road came to this cotter's farm later. Ola had a piece of hayland at Presttereiggjelet that some say was very steep, and Ola had some flatter pasture land on which his wife dried hay. The place was called Annika's hay drying long afterwards. Ole took about 1½ hours to go to the other bottom hayfield at Røyrvikdalen. He carried grass and dried hay home in the evening. Usually the hay was put in a stack for the winter. In 1875 he had a heifer with a calf, 8 sheep and a few potatoes."
