At 47 years of age Norwegian database lists Ole as married and a husmand (tenant farmer with life tenure) in Indre Arnefjord, on Rørvik farm. Arnefjord is one of the small villages in the minicipality of Vik. Ole's name is listed many ways including Limmesand. In marriage record it says Ola Hansson Limmesand from Limmesand living at Rørvik married Anikke Andersdtr. from Tennefoss. Limmesand is Ole's father's name. Limmesand and Rørvik are very close to each other and Tennefoss is just across the fjord. Ole and Anikke's fathers are listed as Husmann Hans Hansson Limmesand and Husmann Anders Olson. Vik bygedabook Vol 3 Røyrvik gard, page 90 shows husman Ola Hansson Nese married in 1846 to Anikka Andersdtr> Ytre Tennefoss and were at Naustvollen. The family left from Bergen on the Allen line, May 1, 1878. At the time Ole was 58, Anneka 65, and daughter Guro (Julia) 26. At the time it was said that they lived at Naustvollen which would have literally meant The Boathouse so they probably lived on the Røyrvik farm in a small area of houses on or near the water. It could have been a dwelling for tenant homes from the gard. Their first child, Hans, had left nine years earlier and was no doubt their sponsor. When they emigrated they first came to Minnesota, lived 2 years in Olmstead Co. and then moved to Brookings County in 1880. Ole died 9 years after arriving in America.
