Description	:	Miss Annie Golt, aged 26 years, daughter of Samuel and Mary C. Golt, died at the home of her father, on Kent Island, on Sunday, August 5th, [1906]. Our dear sister was a very great sufferrer with that dreadful disease consumption. It was painfull to stand by her and witness her sufferings. But she was patient and hopeful, and we all shared with her the hope that she might recover, but hoped in vain. Everything that could be done was done for her relief, and when at last she realized that the end had come she... Read More	Miss Annie Golt, aged 26 years, daughter of Samuel and Mary C. Golt, died at the home of her father, on Kent Island, on Sunday, August 5th, [1906]. Our dear sister was a very great sufferrer with that dreadful disease consumption. It was painfull to stand by her and witness her sufferings. But she was patient and hopeful, and we all shared with her the hope that she might recover, but hoped in vain. Everything that could be done was done for her relief, and when at last she realized that the end had come she begged us all to be good and prepate to meet her in heaven. This is the third death in our family since we have been residents of the Island. Mrs. [Malinda May Golt] Lemuel Kirwan died April 12th, 1902, and our precious mother November 12th 1905, and now our dear sister Annie. But we (though it is hard to bear) humbly submit to the will of God, our Heavenly Father, believing that his will and his way is wisest and best in all his dealings with us. And when this fitful dream of life is past, we shall again be united to part no more forever. "as we drift upon life's billows, Longing for the light of day, Loved ones singing, come this way. And we think we hear dear mother, Calling from the other shore, With a voice so sweet and tender, Far above the billow's roar, Come this way! Come this way! Here is ___ joy, and peace, And your sorrows all ____, Come this Way! Come this way!" There are but four of us left now to comfort and cheer poor father in his loneliness and sad bereavement, Elmer, Harry, Maud and Mollie, We feel deeply grateful to our many dear friends for their kindness to us in our painful affliction. We buried Annie in Stevensville Cemetery, by the side of our dear mother, on Monday afternoon. By Her Brothers and Sisters. Centreville Record - August 18, 1906
