ANNIE MAY DIX BURIED HERE Crisfield Native Died in Baltimore on Monday Mrs. Annie May Dix, a native of Crisfield who had been residing in Baltimore for some years, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. Otis Ford there on Monday of this week. She was 74 years of age. Mrs. Dix was the daughter of the late Wingate and Catherine Russell Lewis, and was born in Crisfield May 11th, 1876. She was the widow of the late William J. Dix, who died some years ago. Most of her life was spent in her native city, where she had many warm friends, who appreciated her gentle and womanly character, and held her in deep affection and regard. She was a loving wife and mother, devoted to her family, but finding time to be of help to others and being repaid for her efforts by the consciousness of good deeds well done, as well as by the esteem of those who knew her. She had been an active member and worked in the Baptist Church for a great many years while her health permitted. Mrs. Dix reposed at the Covington Funeral Home until 2.00 p.m. Wednesday, when funeral services were held there, conducted by Rev. Robert Green pastor of Asbury Methodist Church. Interment was in Asbury cemetery. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. J. Otis Ford, and two sons, Mr. Charles H. Dix and Mr. William J.
