Read More	Was a surveyor in Fullerton including some of the cemetery. ------------------------- Anson Hayden Ellsworth, the son of Giles and Ellen Ellsworth, was born in Windsor, Conn., June 3, 1827 and passed away of infirmities incident to old age, August 6, 1915, at the age of 88 years, 2 months and 3 days. Of his father's family of ten children, five sons and five daughters, but one remains on time's shore, Mrs. Ellen Phelps of Windsor, Conn. Mr. Ellsworth was united in marriage to Miss Nancy A. Bower in Windsor, Conn. on June 9, 1858, who after a little more than 57 years of married life still survives her companion. Of this family there were eight children of whom six survive. Gilbert and George, both of Lincoln, and Anson at home, the daughters are Mrs. J. B. Copley, living in Fullerton and Leila and Ida at home. Besides these there are 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. In this family for 39 years no death has darkened its history, making it the most remarkable record found in the county. 35 years ago they came from their old home in Windsor, Conn., directly to Nance County and settled on a farm on Timber Creek. Mr. Ellsworth was soon appointed County Surveyor, which office he held for many years, laying out much of Fullerton, and the original plot of the cemetery, wherein he rests. After several years of pioneer work in laying foundations, the family moved to their present home where Mr. Ellsworth spent his declining years in comfort and quiet, handing over to his sons and daughters the opportunities and activities of life; and it could but be a delight to see all succeed in well doing - honest, honorable citizens, the greatest heritage of a true man. For many months his family have care for him in his growing infirmities. As a little child again, he was watched and waited upon with considerate sympathy.....
