He was born Aug. 21 1921 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Dominick and Francis Acocello then moved to Los Angeles where he graduated from Compton High. Tony severed in the US Navy from 1942 to 1945 as an aviation machinist, then moved to Bremerton, retiring from PSNS after 38 yrs as a welder. Tony is preceded in death by his parents and sisters Annie and Mary. Tony loved to be surrounded by happy people and little children were sure to put a smile on his face and sparkle in his eyes. He enjoyed sitting in the sun and listening to music. In his younger days, he loved fishing, clam digging, hunting, shopping and watching his wife play the fiddle. We were blessed that he was cared for by Anita and Mike Vollenweider who shared his love of travel, movies, shopping and dining out. They devoted their lives and love to him, we are forever grateful. Tony is survived by his granddaughter Tracy Euteneier and family, his stepdaughter Lou Lovelace, niece Michele Johnson as well as many other loving family members, too many to list but you know who you are.
