Tony married Marita M. (Buescher) Karmazin on October 20, 1984 at Lawrence. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Lawrence and V.F.W. Post #145 of Deweese. He was a lifetime resident of the area and farmed his entire life. He is survived by his wife Marita of Lawrence; 2 stepsons Wayne & wife Jennifer Karmazin, Lawrence, Kansas, Ed Karmazin, Omaha; 3 stepdaughters Betty & husband Mark Rhoades, Blair, Marie & husband Rick Hoelting, Omaha, Dr. Patricia Woster and Friend Greg Johnson, Canton, Michigan; 8 Step Grandchildren; 7 Step Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by is parents. Rosary was held Sunday, July 22, 2012 at the Lawrence Visitation Chapel in Lawrence. Mass was held Monday, July 22, 2012 from Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church in Deweese with Father Loras Grell and Msgr. Ivan Vap con-celebrating. Assisting at the Mass were: Lector: Katie Karmazin; Acolyte: Deacon, Duane Karmazin; Organist: Linda Ostdiek and Song Leader: Carolyn Kohmetscher. Active Pallbearers were Kelly Karmazin, Traci Lyons, Nigel Hoelting, Riley Hoelting, Chris Rhoades, Travis Rhoades, Matt Woster, Mark Woster. Honorary Pallbearers were Jack Lemke, Arlene Lemke, Randy Kucera, Larry Kucera, Kim Kucera, Ron Janda, Carolyn Janda, Valerian Kucera, Virginia Kucera, John Synek, Diane Synek. Burial with Military Rites by V.F.W. Post #145 of Deweese was held in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Lawrence, Nebraska. A Memorial has been established.
