Funeral services will be conducted from the Big Timber Lutheran church at 2 p.m. Monday. Contributor: Julia Kinsey (48922386) • Big Timber Pioneer, February 5, 1953 Last Rites Held For Anton Tronrud Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at the Big Timber Lutheran church for Anton Tronrud, who died at the Community hospital last Thursday morning after a long illness. Rev. Gilbert Oppen officiated and music by Mrs. Chas. Nicholson and Mrs. Ted C. Busha, accompanied by E. O. Overland at the organ. Pallbearers were Tom Andrson, Clarence Nyre, Mervin Sell, Anton Tweeden, and Jack Fjelde and Hilman Gunderson of Livingston. Burial was in Mountain View. Mr. Tronrud was born at Melville on Jan. 17, 1889 a son of Mrs. and Mrs. Andrew Tronrud, pioneers of the Melville community, and he had resided there his entire life, engaged in ranching. Besides his widow, to whom he was married in 1948, Mr. Tronrud is survived by four brothers, Adolph, George, Morris and Victor, all of Melville; four sisters, Mrs. Caroline Schallock and Mrs. Clara Zellers of Big Timber; Mrs. Amelia Bennett and Mrs. Connell Martin, both of Eugene, Ore.
