Tronrud, who died at the Community hospital Wednesday morning of last week, were conducted from the big Timber Lutheran church Saturday afternoon with Rev. Ocee Johnson officiating, and burial will be in Mountain View. Music was by Mrs. Margaret Busha and Mrs. Jerry Egeland who sang "In the Garden" and "Jesus Savior Pilot Mr" accompanied at the organ by E. O. Overland. Pallbearers were Leonard Esp, Albert Esp, Clarence Flattum, Borddie Green, Thorvald Anderson, and Lloyd Rein. Mrs. Tronrud was born July 17, 1893, in Trondheim, Norway, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eric Lovseth, and attended school there. She came to the United States in 1910 to the Ole Eggen ranch at Absarokee, and later to the Big Timber area. She was married to Ole T. Esp on April 11, 1911, and to them were born two children, Oscar and Beulah. They resided on a ranch on Deer creek from 1911 until 1924. Mr. Esp died February 10, 1924. On Feb. 20, 1925, deceased was married to Floyd Nepstad, and to them was born one son, Gordon. Following their divorce, she was married to Anton Tronrud, August 28, 1947. Mr. Tronrud died January 29, 1952. Mrs. Tronrud had since resided on her Melville ranch with her eldest son, Oscar Esp. Mrs. Tronrud was a member of the Big Timber Lutheran church and a charter member of the Deer Creek Ladies Aid. Survivors include two sons, Oscar Esp of Melville and Gordon Nepstad of Billings; a daughter, Mrs. Rudolf. (Beulah) Forster of Grey Cliff; two step-children, Henry Esp of Lodge Grass and Mrs. Earl (Alma) Robison of Idaho Falls, Ida.; two brothers Otto Lovseth of Big Timber and Olaf Lovseth of Viking, Alberta Can.; two sisters, Mrs. Harold Brannae of Big Timber and Mrs. Eric Haugum of Norway; two half-sisters and a half-brother, also of Norway, and three grandchildren.
