She died at St. Luke's hospital, Cedar Rapids, where she had been for five weeks. Born February 27, 1868 at Elberon, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Homolar. She was married August 29, 1886, at Chelsea to Anton Vesely. She died at St. Luke's hospital, Cedar Rapids, where she had been for five weeks. Born February 27, 1868 at Elberon, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Homolar. She was married August 29, 1886, at Chelsea to Anton Vesely. She had made her home in Vining until four and one-half years ago, when she moved to Oxford Junction to live with her daughter, Clara Claussen. Mr. Vesely died in August, 1930. Surviving are two children, Edward A. Vesely of Vining and Mrs. Clara Claussen of Oxford Junction. Two sons, Charles and Steven, died in childhood. Also preceding her in death was a daughter, Mrs. Emma Uridel. Other near relatives surviving Included two half-sisters, Mrs. John Haas of Elberon and Mrs. Ed Tehan of Belle Plaine; a half-brother, Charles Homolar of Elberon. Two sisters and two brothers preceded her in death. There are eight grandchildren Harold and Richard Vesely, Dick Claussen, Ernest, Harvey, Richard and Edward Uridel, and Mrs. Orlyn Blinkinsop; 15 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and one great, great grandson, Gaylord E. Bidwell. Mrs. Vesely was a member of the Vining Congregational church and the C.S.A. and Z.C.B.J. lodges. Services were held at the Ayres funeral home in Keystone with Rev. Lowel Holmgren In charge. Pallbearers were Harold and Richard Vesely, Harvey, Richard and Edward Uridel and Marion Claussen. Music was provided by Rev. and Mrs. Holmgren who sang "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere", and Mrs. Holmgren who sang as a solo, "Beyond the Sunset." Burial was at the Vining National cemetery. Those from a distance attending the services included: Mrs. Bertha Keyser and Mrs. Ray Miller of Davenport; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Dudek, Marlon; Mr. and Mrs. Milton Anderson, Mrs. Viola Behounek, Mrs. J. T. Trimble. Mrs. Mary Dudek, Mrs. Edward Tehan, Mrs. Forrest Wandling, Mrs Elmer Suchy, Mr. and Mrs. Orlyn Blinkinsop and Arthur Blinkinsop, all of Belle Plaine. Mr. and Mrs. Marlon Claussen and Edward Uridel of Cedar Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. Richard Uri del and family of Atkins, Ernest and Harvey Uridel, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Duchacek of Chelsea; Mr. and Mrs. Lester Randall, Marshalltown; Mrs. Frances Haas and Charles Homolar of Elberon. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Novotny, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Caslavka, Traer; Mrs. G. Cress, Mrs. W. Barnhart, Mrs. H. Roberts, Mrs. D. Fritz, Kenneth Harden, all of Oxford Junction; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Van DeWalle of Tama and many Vining and Elberon friends and relatives.
