Mr. Cameron fell off the Detmold trestle two weeks ago and sustained severe internal injuries. He was married in Scotland and came to this country in 1866, bringing with him, his wife and two children. He settled in Lonaconing and for 45 years lived in the house in which he died. He was a coal miner in Scotland and when he arrived here went to work in the Detmold mine where his uncle, Douglas Love, was superintendent. It will be remembered that Douglas Love was killed by Mollie McGuires in 1868. (Unreadable) was committee only a (Unreadable)from were Mr. Cameron (Unreadable) died. (Three sentences are unreadable) John (unreadable) William. Mrs. ???? Aldridge, Carlos, Mrs. George Kulitz, Mrs. Hugh Stafford, Mrs. James Watson and 19 grandchildren. He was a member of the Free Gardners of Lonaconing, Lodge No. 85 I.O.O.F. The funeral will take place (Unreadable). Religious services will be conducted at the house by the Rev. A. C. Thompson and interment will be made in Oak Hill cemetery. Mr. Cameron's wife died six years ago and he will be buried beside her. Evening Times; Cumberland, Maryland Thursday, November 14, 1907 Funeral of Archibald Cameron The funeral of Archibald Cameron took place from his residence in Detmold this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Funeral Services were conducted at the house by the Rev. A. C. Thompson, assisted by the choir of the Presbyterian Church. The local lodge of the Odd Fellows had charge of the funeral. Interment was made in Oak Hill cemetery.
