Description	:	This community was shocked yesterday morning to learn of the death in Cumberland on Monday night of Mrs. George Knatz, at her home on Valley Street, that city, Mrs. Knatz gave birth to a little daughter about three weeks ago, and while she had continued to improve it was noticed that her heart action had been impaired, but it was not even suspected that there was any danger. Read More	This community was shocked yesterday morning to learn of the death in Cumberland on Monday night of Mrs. George Knatz, at her home on Valley Street, that city, Mrs. Knatz gave birth to a little daughter about three weeks ago, and while she had continued to improve it was noticed that her heart action had been impaired, but it was not even suspected that there was any danger. Monday evening after supper Mrs. Knatz was sitting in an easy chair chatting with her husband, when she suddenly complained of feeling bad, and a little latter said she would lie down, which she did, on her own bed. In a few minutes she uttered a sharp cry, spoke a few words of farewell and passed away before medical aide could arrive. Death was due to heart failure, superinduced by her recent illness and weakened constitution. Mrs. Knatz was before her marriage Miss Jeanette Cameron, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Archibald Cameron, of Lonaconing, and was a sister to Mr. John Cameron and Mrs. James G. Watson, both of this place. She was aged about 41 years. She was married to Mr. Knatz in 1893, twenty-one years ago-and is survived by five children. Mr. Knatz moved with his family to Cumberland in September 1911, and they have since resided there. Mr. Knatz being employeed in the café of the Royal Hotel, North Mechanic Street. Services will be held at the home of the deceased this evening and the remains taken to Lonaconing on the 8:30am train on the Cumberland and Pennsylvania railroad Thurday, interment being in the Old Coney Cemetery. Mrs. Knatz was well known here and greatly esteemed by all who knew her, and her untimely death has been a severe shock to her relatives and friends. (Thank you Shawn McGreevy for providing. Since all other five children, mentioned in the obituary, are accounted for we assumed the baby girl in question to have died, either before, during or shortly after birth. (We think she gave birth on or near May 23, 1914)According to Coney Presbyterian Church records, George and Jeanette had a son, Archibald Cameron Knatz, who was born, baptized, and deceased in 1896.
