Description	:	Archie Buell Nash was a son of Wesley Franklin Nash and Mary Agnes Nash. The Nash family and their older children came to Colorado from Iowa in 1888 and settled on a homestead about thirty-five miles south and east of Wray in Yuma County. Bonnie Reservoir now covers part of their land on the north. Wesley Nash, the father, was a veterinarian, traveling by horse and buggy to farms all over the south country doctoring animals and pets. The family also farmed and raised live stock. Wesley died in 1923. Mrs. Mash survived him by several years making her home with her son Archie and his family. Archie B. Nash was born and lived his entire life in the Hale, Armel, and Wray area. He was farmer and rancher before retiring moving to Wray in the 1950's. He worked at the Wray Sales Barns for several years. Archie was married to Miss Nell Busby, daughter of a prominent Armel neighborhood family. She lived near the Nash family on a homestead claim in a dugout. She also taught school. Archie and Nellie were the parents of three sons: Archie, Wayne, and Elmer Glenn. Archie was killed in a truck accident Nellie died in 1960. Archie Nash and Gladys Coad were married December 2, 1964. He was killed March 10, 1965 when his pickup was hit by a train in north Wray. Mrs. Nash survived him. Note: Gladys was first married to Osborne Coad who died in 1951.
