They lived in California until 1932, when they moved to Bridgeport. They lived in Bridgeport and Brewster and ran a bakery until 1955 when Ed died. Ardieta married Jim Grover and they lived and worked in Seattle and Pateros. Jim died in 1987, and Ardieta stayed in her home until 1989 when she moved to Kodiak with her son. Survivors include her daughter Lorna and husband Joe Galipeau of Federal Way; her son Gerald and wife Nancy of Kodiak, Alaska; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one sister, Phyllis Roach of Bridgeport; two nephews; five great nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Grandma Green, parents, a sister, and one great-grandchild. There will be graveside services at the Bridgeport Cemetery, November 19, 1993, at 11:00 am.
