Read More	m: Charley W Buntin 11 Jul 1906 in Douglas Co, WA Mrs. Claytor Dies From Accident Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 21, at 10 am from the St. James Episcopal church in Brewster for (Peggy) Lura Fern Claytor, who died Monday morning from injuries she received when she fell to the pavement from a horse while horseback riding Thursday evening, near the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ed Wilson, Brewster. Mrs. Claytor was born in Eagleville, Mo., Oct. 25, 1889 and was married to Chas. W. Buntin at Bridgeport, Wn., in 1906. Mr. Buntin preceded her in death in 1928. Mrs. Claytor had been working as a filing clerk in Imperial, Calif., for several years and had just arrived in Brewster the previous week for a visit. Officiating at the service was Rev. Douglas Wanamaker of Okanogan and Interment was in the Bridgeport cemetery. Pall bearers were Wade Troutman, Nick Delfield, Wilfred Shaw, Dean Monroe, Nate Thornton and Hoke Smith. The family requested that rather than send flowers, contributions be made to the McKinley Memorial Hospital in her memory. Surviving is her mother, Mrs. Alice Green of Brewster, two daughters, Mrs. Ed Wilson of Brewster and Mrs. Kenneth Roach, San Jose, Calif., one brother, Kent Green Bridgeport, 4 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Barnes Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
