Description	:	Arline was born on July 26, 1927, to parents Earl and Helca (Amer) Beach in Sac City. She was baptized and confirmed her faith at the United Methodist Church in Sac City. Arline attended grade school and high school in Sac City, graduating with the class of 1946. She then attended business school at NBT in Sioux City, IA, for a year and a half. Read More	Arline was born on July 26, 1927, to parents Earl and Helca (Amer) Beach in Sac City. She was baptized and confirmed her faith at the United Methodist Church in Sac City. Arline attended grade school and high school in Sac City, graduating with the class of 1946. She then attended business school at NBT in Sioux City, IA, for a year and a half. On May 8, 1948, Arline was united in marriage to Eldon Horton in Bronson, IA. This union was blessed with six children: Susan, Jan, Nancy, Mari, Bev, and Bill. Arline was a housewife and enjoyed raising her family on the farm. She made many wonderful meals for not only her family, but also all of the farm workers…sometimes organizing and making meals on the spur of the moment. Arline was a very active member of the United Methodist Church in Odebolt, and was also a member of the Women’s Church Circle. In her free time, Arline loved to sew. She made most of her girls’ clothes through their teen years and after that, she sewed things for many others in the community. Arline enjoyed playing bridge with her group of friends over the years. Another one of her favorite things to do was to square dance, she and Eldon would do this any time they had the opportunity. She loved her family and enjoyed spending as much time as she could with them. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Those left to cherish Arline’s memory include her children: Susan Horton of Sac City, IA, Nancy (Richard) Hitchcock of Martinsburg, WV, Mari (Al) Rico of Oviedo, FL, Bill (Myra) Horton of Sac City, IA, son-in-law Andy Olson of Emerson, NE; grandchildren: Ryan Olson of Seattle, WA, Tricia (Chad) Luber of Emerson, NE, Clint (Renee) Olson of Lawrence, KS, Jill (Chris) Coda of New Market, MD, Brett Hitchcock of Orlando, FL, Drew (Emily) Horton of Sac City, IA, Rae Beth Horton of Carroll, IA; great grandchildren: Cade, Carter, and Ava Luber, Chandler and Evangeline Coda, Corbin and Connor Olson, and Kyla Kramer; brother Bill (Marilyn) Beach of Sac City, IA; sisters Marge Horton of Sioux City, IA, and Carol Zigalla of Mesa, AZ; sisters-in-law Mary Beach of Sac City, IA, and Bernice Spink of Sioux City, IA; many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Arline was preceded in death by her husband Eldon; daughters Beverly Horton and Jan Olson; granddaughter Laura Olson; brother Melvin Beach; parents Earl and Helca Beach; parents-in-law Russell and Susie Horton; brothers-in-law Dwayne Rydberg and Cliff Horton; sisters-in-law Delores Strong and Phyllis Davis.
