Description	:	Arline L. Moore, 92, of Connersville, died Wednesday morning, January 26, 2011, at her residence. She was a native of Franklin County, born October 6, 1918, to Henry and Freda Meeker Zins. On December 21, 1939, she was married in Brookville to Earl R. Moore. Following graduation from Indiana Beauty School, Arline owned and operated Arline's Beauty Shoppe in Liberty for eleven years. She was a native of Franklin County, born October 6, 1918, to Henry and Freda Meeker Zins. On December 21, 1939, she was married in Brookville to Earl R. Moore. Following graduation from Indiana Beauty School, Arline owned and operated Arline's Beauty Shoppe in Liberty for eleven years. From 1959 to 1967, she served as matron and deputy with the Union County Sheriff's Department during her husband's tenure as Union County Sheriff. Arline had lived in Connersville since 1967 and was a member of the Grand Avenue United Methodist Church. She enjoyed bowling, playing bingo and spending time crocheting. Arline is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law: Carol Lee Wewe and Donald M. of Mooresville, Frances "Jeanne" Mathews and Everett, Donna June Rowe and John, all of Connersville; two sisters: Sylvia Craig of Sunman and Naomi Collyer of Columbus; five grandchildren and their spouses: Mike Mathews and Cheryl, Steve Mathews and Amy, all of Liberty, Doug Rowe of Carmel, Terry Rowe of Kokomo, Renee Catherine McDonald of Nashville, Tennessee; seven great-grandchildren: Derrick Mathews of Columbus, Kristi Mathews of Richmond, Kate Mathews, Wyatt Mathews and Bailey Mathews, all of Liberty, Courtney Rowe of Carmel, Haley Rowe of Kokomo; a great-great-granddaughter: Peyton Anderson of Richmond; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years who died December 23, 2001, a sister: Marian Weiler and a brother: Virgil Zins. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Myers Chapel, Connersville, with Rev. Betty Ann Garrett, officiating. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Garden of Memories near Springersville. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday where memorial contributions may be made to the Fayette Regional Health System Hospice or Fayette County Cancer Society.
