Description	:	Widow of Civil War Hero Dies at Age of 102 Years Mrs. Millie Perdue, 102 years old, died Sunday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. H. Gordon, 1933 Salem Street, of complications incident to advanced age. She was born at Monticello, Kentucky, July 4, 1824. She was the widow of Dr. Franklin Perdue, a Civil War veteran, who served with Company E, 13th Regiment, Kentucky Cavalry. Gordon, 1933 Salem Street, of complications incident to advanced age. She was born at Monticello, Kentucky, July 4, 1824. She was the widow of Dr. Franklin Perdue, a Civil War veteran, who served with Company E, 13th Regiment, Kentucky Cavalry. After the death of her husband, she removed to southern Indiana and later to Campbellsburg, where she lived until five years ago when she came to Lafayette to live with her daughter. She was a member of the First Christian Church at Campbellsburg. Besides the daughter, she is survived by two brothers, William Gipson of Campbellsburg and Calvin Gipson of Brazil. The body was removed to the Soller and Sons funeral parlors to be prepared for burial and was to be shipped to Campbellsburg Monday night. The funeral will be held there Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock and burial in the Hop Cemetery.
