He was married to Lottie B. Brown February 6, 1885. To this union was born eight children, five daughters - Mrs. Madge Walton, Mrs. Ollie Jean, Mrs. Flava Collier, Mrs. Blanche Chastain and Necie, who died in 1907 at the age of fourteen, and three sons - Walter, Lawrence and Orvil. Krutsinger. His funeral services were held at the home conducted by John W. Marshall and his body laid to rest in the Campbellsburg cemetery.
