Description	:	Arthur Buttman farmed with his wife in the Burt area until 1939, when they moved to Billings and he worked for Montana Oliver Distributing. After serving in the Army during World War II he returned to Billings. In 1948, they moved to Mott, N.D., where they fanned until 1959, then returned to Billings where he again worked for Montana Oliver Distributing for a total of 24 years, retiring in 1976. After retiring, he sold Fuller brushes for seven years. He was a member of Pilgrim Congregational Church and the American Legion. He enjoyed attending American Legion baseball games... Mr. Buttman, 77, of 4332 Phillip St., died Friday in Western Manor Nursing Home after a long illness. He was born in Burt, N.D., a son of Jacob and Hulda Wutzke Buttman. He was raised on a farm north of Burt and attended rural area schools. On Sept 21, 1933, he married Katherine Klein in Burt. Survivors include his wife; a son, Clayton of Billings; two daughters, Mrs. Bill (Shirley) Kroll of Kent, Wash., and Alice Lahren of Billings; a brother, Jake of Billings; five sisters, Dorothy Madler of Baker, Hulda Schultz of Hebron, N.D., and Elsie Ruff, Erna Sprecher and Arlene Parcher, all of Spokane, Wash.; and seven grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Pilgrim Congregational Church with burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Smith Downtown Chapel is in charge.
