Arthur died Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at his home in Aberdeen, SD. Visitation will be 2:00-4:00pm, Sunday, at Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home, 1111 South Main Street. Arthur E Heinrich was born April 16, 1927 to John and Christina Heinrich in Ashley, ND where he was raised and attended school. During this time, he also worked on the family farm. Arthur was united in marriage to Gladys Schlauch on July 2, 1948 in Kulm, ND. Shortly after marrying, they moved to Aberdeen SD where he was employed as a tool maker for 43 years at K.O. Lee Company. Through out their marriage, as dedicated Christians, both Gladys and Arthur were active members of Zion Lutheran Church. His activities at Zion included being an usher, Sunday School teacher, deacon, and council member. Gladys and Arthur shared almost 37 years of marriage before she passed away in October of 1984. Being blessed with another wonderful partner, he met Dorothy Kallas in 1986 and they were married on May 21, 1988. Dorothy and Arthur shared 16 years together before her death in March of 2016. Arthur loved life! His passion was fishing and relaxation at his cabin on the Missouri River by Mobridge. He will always be remembered for his kindness, patience, thoughtfulness, and his generosity to his friends and family. Blessed to have shared Arthur's life are his children: Keith Heinrich of Jamestown, ND, Micheal Heinrich of San Carlos, CA, and Randy Heinrich of Minneapolis, MN; one sister, Francis Schnaible; one brother-in-law, Mark Holty; his stepchildren: LaDonna (Robert)Leibrich of Sheridan, WY, Bernadette (Daniel) Dreher of Manahawkin NJ, Gabriel Kallas of Jackson, WY, Michael Kallas of Santa Barbara, CA, Kevin (Mona)Kallas of Leola, SD, Anthony (Cheryl)Kallas of Aberdeen, Sheila(Jay) Schroeder of Watertown, SD, Mark (Angie)Kallas of Lacey, WA, and Jason (Gail) Kallas of Denver, CO; many nieces,nephews, grandchildren, and great-grand children. Preceding Arthur in death are his parents, John Heinrich and Christina Schneider; both wives, Gladys Schlauch and Dorothy Kallas; brothers, Marvin and Edwin Heinrich. - Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home
