Funeral services for the late Arthur Eugene Moulton were held at the Open Bible Church in Broadus Tuesday afternoon with the Rev. John Mickley officiating. Mr. Moulton passed away Thursday, June 21 at Artesian, S.D., where he was visiting his son, the Rev. Wilbur Moulton. Mr. Moulton had been in poor health for several years and shortly after the first of the year came down with his last illness. He spent much of the past six months in a hospital at Mitchell, S.D. Death was attributed to a heart ailment. Arthur Eugene Moulton was born at Clayton, Iowa, March 23, 1867. He grew up in this community and lived in several communities before coming to Montana in 1914 and homesteading southwest of Boyes. He was married to Grace Landon of Blair, Nebraska who preceded him in death in February 1914. Mr. Moulton farmed in the Boyes community for many years and about ten years ago moved to Broadus where he made his home at various times since then. He was an Elder in his church and on many occasions during his life officiated at religious services in the rural communities of Montana and Wyoming. He is survived by two sons, the Rev. Wilbur Moulton of Artesian, S.D., and A. B. Moulton of Broadus and by several grandchildren. Burial was in the cemetery at Boyes. Pallbearers were Matt Dinstel, Ernest Cadwell, James Harris, John Brady, Alvin Wetherelt and Tom Wetherelt.
