Mrs. Grace Palmer Moulton, Boyes, Montana, was called to her eternal home at 3:10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6, 1940, being 66 years of age.. She was stricken Sunday evening, January 20, with hemorrhage of the brain. She suffered a great deal of pain in her right shoulder and could not use her right arm because of the pain. Being unable to lie down, she was compelled to sit in the rocking chair for five days and nights. On Friday evening, February 2nd another hemorrhage and she was unconscious Saturday and Sunday. On Monday, she was taken to the hospital in Broadus and at 3:10 Tuesday morning she crossed the river of death.. Grace Palmer Landon was born November 5, 1873 at Blair, Nebr. At the age of six, she with her mother moved to Dayton township, Lincoln County, South Dakota, completing the eighth grade there. She attended Augustana college in Canton, S.D., after which a business course in the Cosmopolitan Business college in Sioux City was taken. She taught school for some time in Lincoln County, S.D. and on her twenty-second birthday was united in marriage to A.E. Moulton of Lincoln township, Lincoln County, S.D. They lived on a farm in Lincoln County until the spring of 1904 when she and her husband moved to Clarinda, Iowa. Mr. Moulton was engaged in the American Sunday School Union Missionary work there. While here, she was active in home missions and the W.E.T.U. work and the home Sunday school and church work.. In the fall of 1914, they moved to Powder River County, Montana, on a homestead where she lived until her death. Here she will be remembered by all who knew her as a faithful and very zealous worker in the church and Sunday school. Her one aim and object in life was to see people drown to the Christ Life. A strong advocate of prohibition.. There were four children. Ora Beth born Sept. 3, 1899, and died Sept. 11, 1899, being eight days old; Alfred Brunson, born July 29, 1909; Wilbur Eugene, born Sept. 23, 1913; and another born in October, 1914, who died in infancy..
