He was born July 22, 1884, near Allen, Okla., to Frank and Josie McCall McElroy. A resident of Ottumwa since 1928, he was with the Norfolk and Western Railroad for 58 years, retiring in 1965. Pallbearers will be Lawrence Coyne, Harry Brinegar, Cam Brinegar, Elmer Collier, Warren Wiggins and Pearl Ludwick. A Christian wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. today at the fun- eral home.
