Description	:	Arthur Harry Pickelsimer, 82, of Penrose, died Sunday, April 26,1998, at the VA Medical Center in Asheville following a period of declining health. He was a native of Transylvania County and the son of the late Arthur Harrion and Nell Hamilton Pickelsimer. Before retiring he worked in motor traffic management for motor lines in Georgia and North Carolina. A veteran of World War II, he served as a radio operator in the Army Air Corps. Read More	Arthur Harry Pickelsimer, 82, of Penrose, died Sunday, April 26,1998, at the VA Medical Center in Asheville following a period of declining health. He was a native of Transylvania County and the son of the late Arthur Harrion and Nell Hamilton Pickelsimer. Survivors include his sister Mary Helen Pickelsimer of the home; four aunts, Mary McCrary, and Myra Merrill of Hendersonville, and Love Hamilton and Flora Pickelsimer of Penrose; and a number of cousins. A grave sid service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Little River Baptist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Jeff Maynard. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Thomas Shepherd & Son Funeral Directors.
