Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, at the Peace United Church of Christ, Hoskins, with Rev. Clifford Weldeman officiating. Mrs. Raymond Walker and Mrs. Dennis Puls sang, "Softly and Tenderly" and "What a Friend We Have in Jesus", accompanied by Mrs. Andrew Andersen. Arthur Krause was born March 25, 1904, in Hoskins, the son of William Frederick and Dora Margaretha (Suckstorf) Krause. He was baptized at the Lutheran Church in Hoskins and confirmed on June 17, 1917, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Norfolk. He was educated in the Hoskins schools. He began working on the Herman Marten farm southeast of Hoskins, until he moved to Norfolk in 1956. He never married. He was a member of the Peace United Church of Christ, Hoskins. Surviving are two half-sisters, Ruth McKibbon of Norfolk and Kathryn Heitmeier of Omaha; two half-brothers, Earl Krause of Norfolk and Joe Krause of Alliance; and one nephew, Harry Krause Jr., of Oakland, California. He was preceded in death by his parents, a step-mother, one sister, Anna Krause, three brothers, Edwin and Harry Krause Sr., and one brother in infancy, and one half-brother, Joe Krause.
