The son of Joseph and Lilly Hart Lepper, Arthur R. Lepper was born May 19, 194, at Eldon. He spent his youth in a number of western states. He was married April 2, 1928, to Gwendolyn Dooley at Ottumwa. She survives. He had spent his entire married life in Selma. He attended barber school at Des Moines and began his career at Miltn. From there he moved to Selma in 1926. He was a member of Van Buren Lodge 350, I.O.O.F., at Selma. Survivors include his widow; two daughters, Evelyn Lepper, Waterloo, and Mrs. Donald Horton, Fairfield; two grandchildren; his mother and a brother, Willis, both of Galesburg, Ill. Funeral services were held Saturday July 29, 1972 at 2 P.M. at the Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds, with the REv. Gerald Caughrom and the Rev. Earl Kelly officiating. Pall bearers were Kenneth Gilchrist, Garold Hughes, Ralph Ritz, Richard Ludwig, Richard Spees, and Kenneth Gardner. Interment was in Mt.
