Read More	Arthur Stanley Crouse Arthur Stanley Crouse, a life resident of Branch LaHave, passed to his eternal rest on Monday morning, November 7, 1960, at the home of his son, Eugene, with whom he resided. He was at the advanced age of 82 years. Although not in the best of health for some time, his sudden death came as a shock to his family, relatives, and friends. During the early part of his life he was employed with the Mersey Paper Company for a long period of time, a work which he seemed to enjoy. Up to the time of his death, he was active with the work of the old homestead and chores, always lending a helping hand when needed. He was the son of the late John and Sophia (Conrad ) Crouse. His wife, the former Ella Meisner, predeceased him 25 years ago. He is survived by seven sons and four daughters: Moyle of Brooklyn; Harold, Toronto, Ontario; Walter, Bridgewater; Doran, Middleton; Lloyd, Midville Branch; Eugene and Earlen, Branch LaHave; Lorna (Mrs. Angus Wentzell) of Kentville; Grace (Mrs. Orlo Anderson) Avonport; Hilda (Mrs. Hughie Frank) and Muriel (Mrs. Fred Frank ), Bridgewater. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Anna Smith of Midville Branch and Edna (Mrs. Guy Lowe) Lower Branch and one brother, William of New Canada. Two sons, Oran and Garland; two daughters, Lida and Doris; one sister, Adelia (Mrs. Arch Rodenhizer) and two brothers, Walter and Kenneth predeceased him many years previous. There are also thirty-six grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren. Funeral service was held from St. James Lutheran Church on Wednesday, November 9th, at 2:30 p.m. conducted by the pastor, the Rev. D. Himmelman. With thanks to Rosemary Rafuse.
