Description	:	Aryss Leola Tieszen was born Oct. 28, 1936 to Dave R. and Lydia Adrian Tieszen. She attended eight years in country schools and graduated from Freeman Academy in 1954. She married Ralph (Bud) Langrock Jan. 7, 1955. They lived in Long Beach, Calif., for one year while Bud was in the Navy. She attended eight years in country schools and graduated from Freeman Academy in 1954. She married Ralph (Bud) Langrock Jan. 7, 1955. They lived in Long Beach, Calif., for one year while Bud was in the Navy. In 1956 they moved to a farm south of Canistota, S.D., and farmed until 1993 when they moved to Marion, S.D. Aryss was a waitress at the Hayloft cafe for over 10 years. Aryss accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age in Bible school and was baptized at Silver Lake MB church at age 16 and was a member there until she joined Sandham Reformed Church in Monroe, S.D., in 1957. She was CWM treasurer for many years, taught Sunday school for many years, played piano for junior choir, belonged to extension clubs and Bible study groups. She did volunteer work at church and at the Tieszen Home Auxiliary. She bowled on a team for 50 years which won the state championship in 1987. She loved to play cards, dominoes and scrabble. Her family meant the world to her and she loved to entertain them, cook for them and just enjoy them. She did a lot of baking and canning. Grateful for having shared her life are her husband Bud; four children: Dale (Mary), Dean (Rhonda), Debra Schultz (Lon Lemme), Dori (Kelly) Wiese; 10 grandchildren: Jeremy Langrock, Dan Schultz, Tim Wiese, Derek Handwerk, Alex Wiese, Amanda Langrock, Kristina Haynes, Brianna Strout, Stacy Hjermstad, Jessi Langrock; 14 great-grandchildren: Nolen, Collin and Seth Langrock; Kaleb, Ellia, Alyvia, and Ashlynn Hjermstead; Kaylee Novak; Ellis and Charlotte Haynes; Rory and Aryssa Strout; and Sutton Wiese; brother, Duane (Marlys) Tieszen; sister, Lavonne Preheim; sister-in-law; Ione Tieszen; and brother-in-law, Bob Loof. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Vernon and Alden Tieszen; sister, Edna Wentzel; brothers-in-law, Henry Wentzel and Arden Preheim; son-in-law, Roger Schultz; sisters-in-law, Viola Curry and Janice Loof; and nephews, Ron, Roy and Rocky Wentzel.
