Burial will be in the Byrd Cemetery at Myrtle, Missouri with services under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc. in Thayer Asa Bartee Garrison, Jr. was born the son of Asa Bartee Garrison, Sr. and Mary Anola (Honeycutt) Garrison on January 27, 1936, in Myrtle, Missouri, and departed this life July 7, 2015, in Little Rock, Arkansas, at the age of 79 years. He was united in marriage on September 8, 1956, at Alton, Missouri, to Arnetta Nadine Case, and to this union four children were born, Pam, Van, Don, and Randy. ; fourteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, his brother, Jim , several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Asa and Anola Garrison, and one son, Randall Asa Garrison. Asa was a graduate of Couch High School. He was employed as a brakeman/conductor with Frisco Railroad, retiring in 1983 after many years of service. He loved deer hunting, his horse, Valentine, and going on trail rides. Asa enjoyed working on his farm, raising horses, cattle, and goats, and in his spare time, attending auctions. He attended the Byrd Free Will Baptist Church and will truly be missed by his family, friends, and the community in which he lived. Burial will be in the Byrd Cemetery at Myrtle, Missouri.
