On Jan. 24, 1765 at Windham, Conn., Asahel m. Desire Eames (q.v. Ames), dau. of Anthony Eames and Anna Barker, b. Oct. 15, 1745 at Voluntown, Conn. She d. at Windham Nov. 2, 1820, Æ 76. April 14, 1794 at Windham, Betsy Witter, the sister of Rhoda, wife of Pratt Allen above. She was b. May 25, 1773 at Canterbury, Conn. and d. Nov. 14, 1858. They have a single gravestone at the Old Hanover Cemetery at Hanover, New London County, Conn. • iii. Achsah Allen, b. Aug. 15, 1770; no further current information about her. • iv. Unnamed Daughter, b. Aug. 19, 1772; d. 4 days later on Apr. 23, 1772. • v. Asahel Allen, a twin, b. Mar. 19, 1774; no further current information regarding him. • vi. Desire Allen, twin of Asahel; m.
