He is survived by his wife, the former Hilda Tufts; four daughters, Udivilla (Mrs. Randolph Conrad), Simpson's Corner; Eileen (Mrs. Ronald Veinot), Lake Pleasant; Pearl (Mrs. Lawrence Mailman), Lake Pleasant; Phyllis (Mrs. Warren Stockman), Bridgewater; two sons, Fletcher, Lake Pleasant; Roscoe, Upper Northfield; 26 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren. He was predeceased by six sisters, Eva, Mae, Jennie, Lois, Emma, Arthelia; four brothers, Fred, Percy, Anson, and Paul. The body was in Langille's Funeral Home, New Germany. Funeral was held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Springfield United Baptist Church, Rev. David Keith officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Donations were made to South Shore Regional Hospital or Springfield United Baptist Church Cemetery Fund. Pallbearers were Aubrey Conrad, Keith Mailman, Paul Veinot, Steven Varner, Scott Varner, and Richard Snyder; members of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 102, formed the Honour Guard.
