Born November 20, 1887 in Madison Township, Carroll County, Indiana, she was the daughter of John T. Gee and Isabel Schnepp Gee, pioneer residents of Carroll County, Indiana. The family home formerly was the Bankable farm, now owned by Lawrence Mays. Mrs. Studebaker was a graduate of Delphi High School and attended Indiana University School of Law in Indianapolis and the University of Florida. A member of the Colburn Lutheran Church, she was the past president of the Indianapolis Chapter of Iota Tau Tau, a women Lawyer's sorority. She and her husband, Harvey to whom she was married November 20, 1911, practiced law in Delphi, Indiana and in Indianapolis, Indiana prior to moving to Miami, Florida, where they engaged in a reality business. The Studebakers were charter members of the Delphi Junto Club. Surviving with the husband is a half-brother, Edward Gee of Altoona, Pennsylvania; a nephew, Jack Gee of Miami, Florida; a grand niece, Sandra Gee of Delphi, Indiana. Funeral rites were conducted Tuesday afternoon from the Cornell Funeral Home in Delphi, Indiana with Reverend Toby Rendleman officiating. Burial was in the Colburn EUB Cemetery.
