Description	:	Father George Walker Mother Alice McGually Audley Walker, 86, died at his home in Clay Center on Feb. 7, 1989. He was born April 9, 1902, at Clay Center, son of George and Alice Walker. He married Opal Farrow in 1919. Walker was owner and operator of the Walker Sand Co. of Concordia and Clyde, and the Central Kansas Sand Co. in Salina. He retired in 1970. Read More	Father George Walker Mother Alice McGually Audley Walker, 86, died at his home in Clay Center on Feb. 7, 1989. He was born April 9, 1902, at Clay Center, son of George and Alice Walker. He married Opal Farrow in 1919. Walker was owner and operator of the Walker Sand Co. of Concordia and Clyde, and the Central Kansas Sand Co. in Salina. He retired in 1970. He was also an Army Veteran of WW II. Walker was preceded in death by his wife Opal in 1982, one son Carmen in 1975 and two brothers. Survivors are: three grandchildren, (Names omitted for privacy)one daughter in law, and two sisters. Funeral services will be at 1:30 pm Friday at the First Christian Church with the Rev. Tim Moore officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery. Respect calls may be anytime after 3pm on Thursday at the Neill-Schwenson Funeral Home. Memorials to the Clay Center Hospice.
