Description	:	August M.(Aug) Peterson, 34 years old and who lived on a farm nine miles northeast of Greeley, died last Sunday at a hospital in Columbus. The deceased was stricken by an unexpected attack of appendicitis a week ago last Saturday. Accompanied b y his wife and a Spalding physician he was immediately rushed to a hospital. A surgeon was summoned from Omaha and... Read More	August M.(Aug) Peterson, 34 years old and who lived on a farm nine miles northeast of Greeley, died last Sunday at a hospital in Columbus. The deceased was stricken by an unexpected attack of appendicitis a week ago last Saturday. Accompanied b y his wife and a Spalding physician he was immediately rushed to a hospital. It was first planned to take him to an Omaha hospital, but his condition became so grave at Columbus that he was removed from the train and rushed to a hospital there. A surgeon was summoned from Omaha and a operation was performed the same evening. It was found that the appendix had bursted. His condition appeared to be satisfactory after the operation until Friday when he took a turn for the worse. The end came Sunday evening. Relatives were summoned to his bedside Saturday. The body was brought back home Monday and the Funeral was held at the SWEDISH Lutheran church here Tuesday afternoon. Rev. C.F. Sandall of Genoa conducted the funeral services. Burial was in the SWEDISH cenetery northeast of Greeley. The pallbearers were Gunnard Bjorklund, Joe Johnson. Mike Noonan, Elmer, Burke. John Moran and Will Nelson. Mr. Peterson is survived by his window and three children. His father J.A.Peters, resides at Genoa. Mrs. Joe Murphy of O'Connor and Mrs Frank Noonon of Leo Valley are sisters.
