He died Saturday of injuries sustained in a farming accident at his residence. He was born Jan. 15, 1925, in Plymouth to August and Sadie Rieken Huge. He was married Feb. 19, 1950, in Reynolds to Ardith McCray, who survives. He worked as district supervisor for 12 years and served as state treasurer for several years for White County Soil, Water and Conservation Service. He was a U.S. Army Infantry veteran of World War II, serving in the Pacific Theater. He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Reynolds. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Reynolds, and American Legion, Monticello. Also surviving are a son, Duane L., Cloverdale; two daughters, Gloria J. Eudy, Milton, Fla., and Jennifer L. Huge, Rt. 5, Monticello; a brother, Paul, Monticello; four sisters, Mabel Musser, Earl Park, Edna Cleveland and Clara Baker, both of Plymouth, and Dorothy Berger, Phoenix, Ariz.; and a grandson. A son, two grandchildren, a brother, and a sister preceded in death. The Rev. Stephen E. Koenig will officiate at the service. Burial, with military rites, will be in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. James Lutheran Church
