Description	:	August married Kamilla Jacobson on April 10, 1891 in Graettinger, Iowa. They were the parents of three children, Alma Lorense, Kathryn Oline and Arthur Sibert. They moved from Iowa to North Dakota where they homesteaded land in Fairbanks Township, Renville County. His wife died in 1903. He and the children moved to Kenmare where he worked as a carpenter. Bodmer Funeral Home Records list: O. A. Berg died June 23, 1913 of tuberculosis and buried on June 24th. It does not list the place of burial. Mogren #46783109 Kenmare Journal (front page) Thursday, June 26, 1913 A.O. Berg passed away at his home in this city last Monday morning, the cause of death being tuberculosis. The deceased had been an invalid from partial paralysis for a period of almost two years, tuberculosis later developing until death was the result. Mr. Berg was fifty years of age. He came to the State of North Dakota some eleven years ago first settling on a homestead near McKinney. He remained there until the death of his wife about nine years ago, then coming to Kenmare to reside. He is survived by two daughters, Alma and Katie and one son, Arthur. The interment was made in the cemetery at the Trinity Lutheran Church on Tuesday, Rev. Anderson being in charge. Submitted by J.B. Mogren #46783109
