Read More	Blood Poison Takes August Bradow After suffering as a patient in St. Joseph’s hospital in Lewiston for two weeks from a case of blood poisoning which was responsible for a subsequent fatal case of pneumonia, August Bradow, a well known pioneer of this section, died at an early hour last Friday morning. The remains were brought to Uniontown and funeral services were held at the Community church at 10:30 Monday morning, Rev. J. B. Cronek, pastor of the Trinity Lutheran church of Lewiston officiating. Interment was made in the local cemetery. Hundreds of friends of deceased came from all sections of the county to attend the last rites, who with the local people filled the church to overflowing. August Bradow was born in Prussia, Germany, Feb. 27, 1860. At the age of 7 years he was confirmed in the Lutheran church remaining in that faith throughout life. In 1884 came to America, settling in Minnesota. Shortly afterwards he paid a visit to this community and was so favorably impressed with it that, although returning to Minnesota and living there for a year, he did not forget the West. During the year he was united in marriage with Miss Barbara Schonberger and shortly afterwards they came to Uniontown. Four children were born to them, one son who died in early childhood and Charles and Albert of this city, and John, now living in Chicago. Besides these three sons he is survived by his widow and several brothers and sisters living in Germany. Mr. Bradow engaged in farming during the many years he lived here and up until five years ago when he retired, disposing of his farm and making his home here in this city. But he was unusually active and was always busy at something. It was while making some repairs around his home that he received a small wound in his hand that resulted in the fatal blood poisoning. He was a familiar figure among local business places where he would spend a few hours of each day visiting with his many friends and acquaintances.
