Description	:	****************************************************** Mrs. Augusta Lohr, nee Meissbach, was born January 6, 1860 in St. Louis, Missouri as the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Meissbach. Early in her infancy she was made a child of God through holy Baptism and later was instructed in the teachings of the Word of Word as taught by the Lutheran church and confirmed. On October 22, 1882 she entered the estate of holy matrimony with Edward Niermann of St. Louis. This union was blessed with one daughter, Martha Mundt, wife of Ferdinand Mundt. Read More	**************************************************** Mrs. Augusta Lohr, nee Meissbach, was born January 6, 1860 in St. Louis, Missouri as the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Meissbach. Early in her infancy she was made a child of God through holy Baptism and later was instructed in the teachings of the Word of Word as taught by the Lutheran church and confirmed. On October 22, 1882 she entered the estate of holy matrimony with Edward Niermann of St. Louis. This union was blessed with one daughter, Martha Mundt, wife of Ferdinand Mundt. Four years later she was left a widow when her husband died. On October 17, 1894 she married again. This second union was with Rev. August Lohr of Kramer. To this second union was born one son, August, a parochial school teacher of Fort Wayne, Indiana. After her second marriage she lived at Kramer until 1910, when Pastor Lohr retired and moved to Kramer. There they resided until 1922 when they moved to Crete where on October 8, 1923 Pastor Lohr passed away. Since then she spent her years mostly at the home of her daughter in Crete. About four years at three different times, she spent with her son. She returned from Fort Wayne a year ago and immediately sought medical attention. The very best was resorted to but nothing could stay the hand of death. She departed this life Wednesday evening, December 18, at 10:06, peacefully, which was her wish. She reached the age of 75 years, 11 months, and 12 days, being survived by her daughter, her son, eight grandchildren, four cousins, and a host of friends. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Lutheran church. The pastor spoke on Numbers 23, 10. Burial was made in the Kramer Lutheran cemetery beside her husband, there to rest until the coming of her Lord, "who shall change her body that it may be fashioned like unto His glorious body."
