Read More	Grand Island Herald Thursday 30 Nov. 1933 p. 1 Mrs. Herman Wiegert Pioneer Resident Passes Away Friday Mrs. Herman Wiegert, a resident of central Nebraska for more than fifty years passed away at her home, ten miles north of here, 7:30, Friday morning. Augusta Wilhelmina Stiller was born September 24, 1867, in Hohenstein Ehrnstal Saxon, Germany, and was 66 years of age at the time of her death. She came with her parents to America at the age of 13 and lived on a farm four miles west of Chapman. Here she was united in marriage with Herman Wiegert, Dec. 22, 1887. Seven children were born, one of whom preceded her in death. Besides a host of friends and relatives, she is survived by Henry Myers, St. Libory, Mrs. John Ehlers, Mrs. Walter, Niemoth, Alfred, William and Geo., all of Grand Island. A large number of friends attended the funeral services, Monday afternoon, held at the Evangelical church, north of the city. Rev. L. Lohr, assisted by Rev. Reutlinger, officiated. Messrs. C. T. Julesgard, Harry Preisendorf, Fred Wiegert, Emil Wiegert, L. Rudolph and August Rudolph were pallbearers. burial was in the Weigert cemetery.
