Speicher -- At his home in Accident at noon yesterday, after an illness of several days, Mr. Austin Speicher, aged about 68 years. Speicher -- At his home in Accident at noon yesterday, after an illness of several days, Mr. Austin Speicher, aged about 68 years. The deceased was born in Somerset county, Pa., but has been a resident of this county since childhood. He was married and besides his wife leaves the following children: Dr. A. F. Speicher, of Elk Lick, Pa.; Charles C., who resides at Accident; Ross, who lives in Colorado; Francis, of Nebraska, and also four daughters, the wives of Jacob Beeghly, F. J. Glotfelty, Louis Kamp and J. M. Fisher, all of Distrist No. 5. Another daughter, Sarah, was born to Mr. Speicher, who after she was grown became the wife of George Lininger, but who died about ten years or more ago. Mr. Speicher was a well-to-do enterprising farmer up to a year ago when he sold his farm in the Cove and moved with his wife to Accident. His funeral will take place on Friday at 1:30 o'clock, the service to be conducted by his pastor, Rev. Flick, of the English Lutheran church. After the services at the church the remains will be conveyed to the burying ground near the site of the old Bear Creek school house and there interred. The cause of Mr. Speicher's demise was kidney disease.
