Description	:	BUFFALO - Ava Webber Brown O'Shields, 82, of 390 Putnam Road, died May 14, 1998, at home, following an extended illness. A native of Cherokee County, she was the daughter of the late Doc and Lillie Wilson Webber. She was married first to the late Guy Brown. She was a member of Putman Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Willing Workers Sunday School Class and the Senior Citizens. Read More	BUFFALO - Ava Webber Brown O'Shields, 82, of 390 Putnam Road, died May 14, 1998, at home, following an extended illness. Ernest O'Shields; one daughter, Jean B. Smith of Buffalo; one son, Gary Brown of Piedmont; one brother, the Rev. D.B. Webber of Simpsonville; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. The body has been placed at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Jean B. and Bobby Smith, 424 Putman Road, Buffalo, where the family will receive friends. Funeral services will be held at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Putman Baptist Church, conducted by the Revs. Donald Tillman, Ray Belue and Ton Culbertson. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
