Matile was born November 24, 1929 in Emporia, Kansas, the daughter of Fred and Sophia (Barrett) Matile. Barbara married Harold L. Goff on September 16, 1950 in Topeka. He died June 11, 1991. Read More	Barbara A. Goff November 24, 1929 - October 26, 2018 Barbara A. Goff, 88, formerly of Allen, Kansas, passed away Friday, October 26, 2018 at the Emporia Presbyterian Manor. Barbara A. Matile was born November 24, 1929 in Emporia, Kansas, the daughter of Fred and Sophia (Barrett) Matile. Barbara married Harold L. Goff on September 16, 1950 in Topeka. He died June 11, 1991. She was a graduate of Emporia High School and had worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, Emporia Livestock Sales and for 33 years as the Secretary at Northern Heights High School in Allen until her retirement several years ago. Barbara is survived by her sons; Tim (Sandy) Goff, Admire, Kansas, Scott Goff, Allen, Kansas, Daughter; Cori (Rodney) Pratt, Phoenix, Arizona, grandchildren; Chris Wecker, Calli Wecker, Rylin Pratt, and Matney & Sadie Goff, and Great-grandchildren; Kloe Goff, Kyler Goff, and Kobyn Goff. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and a brother, Robert Matile. She was a member of the Eastern Star, the Rosean Social Club, the Kansas Livestock Association, and an Honorary Member of the Arab Shrine Mini-Ts. Cremation is planned. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at 10:30 A.M. at the Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, Emporia. The service will be conducted by Pastor Brad Hargis, Westside Baptist Church, Emporia. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 6:00 PM until 7:30 P.M. The family requests no flowers. Contributions to the Emporia Friends of the Zoo or the North Lyon County Youth Association, sent in care of the funeral home, PO Box #175, Emporia, Kansas 66801. Condolences may be sent to the family trough the funeral home website.
