Description	:	WAS FERRIED TO OMAHA Mrs. Barbara Svacina, 56 Years Here, Is Dead Mrs. Barbara Svacina, 77, a resident of Omaha for 56 years, died Sunday evening at the home of her daughter, Kristina (Mrs. Frank) Pospisil, Fort Crook boulevard, with whom she had made her home since the death of her husband two years ago. Mrs. Svacina came to Omaha from Bohemia in 1871, crossing the Missouri river on a ferry which at that time was the only connecting link between Omaha and Council Bluffs.
