Description	:	Barbara Jane Zeman, 83, of Elberon, died on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at the Iowa River Hospice Home in Marshalltown. Funeral Services at the Christian Fellowship Church of Vining. Interment in the Stayskal Cemetery in rural Vining. Barbara was born on December 2, 1937, in rural Chelsea, Iowa, the daughter of Emil and Gertrude (Wilkinson) Seidel. She graduated from Toledo High School. On August 3, 1957, she married Robert "Dennis" Zeman at the United Brethren Church in Toledo. Read More	Barbara Jane Zeman, 83, of Elberon, died on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at the Iowa River Hospice Home in Marshalltown. Funeral Services at the Christian Fellowship Church of Vining. Interment in the Stayskal Cemetery in rural Vining. Barbara was born on December 2, 1937, in rural Chelsea, Iowa, the daughter of Emil and Gertrude (Wilkinson) Seidel. She graduated from Toledo High School. On August 3, 1957, she married Robert "Dennis" Zeman at the United Brethren Church in Toledo. Barb helped her husband on the farm doing all of the important jobs that farm wives do. She also enjoyed helping her daughter, Kristi at the Farmers Markets. Barb was a member of the Christian Fellowship Church of Vining and the CSA Hall. She loved gardening, growing flowers, baking and canning. Barb and Dennis loved dancing and followed the Dave Dighton Band. Her greatest joy was time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include one son, Tod (Stacey) Zeman of Toledo; one daughter, Kristi (Alan) Sienknecht of Clutier; eight grandchildren, Levi (Tiffany) Zeman, Madison Zeman, Joe (Jessica) Shope, Luke (Kailey) Shope, Haley (Garrett) Princehouse, Devin (Kyle) Mattingly, Bailey (Cody) Hamilton, and Colin Sienknecht; seven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Betty Bumgarner of Central City, Bonnie (Leroy) Deutsch of Vinton, and Bev (Fred) Vore of Vining; brother-in-law, Roger Zeman of Elberon; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Dennis in 2018; brother-in-law, Keith Bumgarner; and sister-in-law, Shirley Sokol. Source: Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama.
