Description	:	Barbara, 88, died at 5:45 a.m., at The Gardens. She was a daughter to Wilbur and Rose (Strominger) Nagel. Surviving is a sister-in-law, Theresa Nagel, Wapak. Deceased are three brothers, William H., Robert G. and J. Paul. After graduating from St. Joseph High School in 1941, she entered the Community of the Sisters of the Precious Blood, Dayton. She remained in the order for 30 years during which time she worked as a teacher. In 1971, she withdrew from the religious order and returned to Wapak where she made her home with her parents until their deaths. While in Wapak, she worked as a bookkeeper/clerk for the Nagel Electric Store until its closing in 1990. Then she did several years of substitute teaching in the Wapakoneta City Schools. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wapak, where she was a CCD instructor for 45 years, a Lector and Lay Distributor, She was also a member of the former Catholic Ladies of St. Joseph. Her hobbies included traveling, music and playing the violin. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wapakoneta, with the Rev. Patrick Sloneker officiating.
