He was born in Columbiana County, Ohio, and apparently died before the 1850 census. She married 2nd March 21, 1858, Robert Gordon. He was born about 1815 in Pennsylvania, and apparently died between the 1860 and 1870 censuses. Barbara and her 3 children were living next to her brother, Peter Yerian, in Columbiana County, Ohio, at the time of the 1870 and 1880 census.
