She died Sunday morning, May 29, at her residence of Willey, following a long illness. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Willey. The Rev. Ed Tiedeman will be celebrant. Casket bearers will be Dan Handlos, Charles Thielen, Paul Klocke, LaVern Greving, Eugene Danzer and Gary Haverman. Visitation will begin at 2 pm today at Sharp Funeral Home in Carroll. Rosaries will be recited at the funeral home today at 3 pm, 8 pm by St. Mary's Parish and 8:45 pm. Born March 30, 1934, at Willey, Miss Bauer was a daughter of Conrad and Clara (Langel) Bauer. She spent her entire lifetime in the Willey community, where she attended St. Mary's School. She also attended St. Angela's Academy in Carroll. She was a member of St. Mary's Parish in Willey, the Parish Ladies Guild and the St. Mary's Adult Choir. Miss Bauer is survived by her father, Conrad, of Carroll; two brothers, Norbert and his wife Ardis of Willey and Leon Bauer of Willey; two nephews, Daniel Bauer of Willey and David Bauer and his wife Lori of Willey; one niece, Linda Bauer of Willey, and one great-nephew, Tim Bauer of Willey. She was preceded in death by her mother, Clara Bauer, in 1980.
