Description	:	Funeral services for Mrs. Lizzie Belle Wenke, 86, long-time resident of Norfolk, who died Sunday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Opal Kennedy, Lincoln, were conducted Tuesday afternoon at the Home for Funerals. Burial was in Prospect Hill cemetery, with the following serving as pallbearer Russell Caauwe, Galen Kennedy, Harold Wenke, Eugene, Raymond and Virgil Cook. Mrs. Wenke whose maiden name was Lizzie Belle Cook, was born in Maynard (sic), July 6, 1883. She was married Jan. 4, 1900, to William Wenke. After the death of her husband in 1937, she made her home with her daughters Mrs. Kennedy and Mrs. Irma Grace Caauwe (1908-1983), and son Wilson Harley (1913-1981) Wenke. Surviving are her daughters, son, her mother, Mrs. Sarah Cook, Norfolk; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four brothers, Adam Cook, Weeping Water, George Cook, Hadar, Bert Cook, Norfolk, and Forrest Cook, Los Angeles, and two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Wenke, Casper, Wyo.; and Mrs. Andrew Mattson, Norfolk. note: Son preceded her in death: Ray Wilfred (1907-1907) Memorial managed by 9th cousin
